Special Events

You’re Invited!

Inver Grove Height’s Parks & Recreation strives to provide a variety of fun and engaging special events to connect our community members to one another, keep our community active, provide a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors and share the many great amenities and features the City and Parks & Rec has to offer!

Interested in sponsoring an IGH Parks & Rec-led event?

Sponsoring an event or program hosted by Inver Grove Heights Parks & Recreation allows your business to connect with the City’s residents in a unique and beneficial way. We would love to partner with you. Please contact Julie Dorshak at jdorshak@invergroveheights.org or 651-450-2588 to discuss how we can build a stronger community — together!

Night to Unite is an effective and fun way to get to know your neighbors and prevent crime. This is a chance for neighbors to turn on their lights, lock their doors, and come together to strengthen their neighborhood bonds.

Each neighborhood decides how they want to celebrate Night to Unite and you can invite city staff from Police, Fire and Parks & Recreation to stop by your event...but you must register. Registration will open later this summer.
