The senior club is a group that offers cards and monthly luncheons. Membership is $8 for the year of discounts on Club activities organized by volunteer members. Membership cycle runs Jan-Dec. Club activities are held at Veterans Memorial Community Center, Community Room 2.
Note: You do not have to be a senior club member to do other programs, events and activities.
Monthly Luncheons with Entertainment
Held third Monday of the month, 12-2pm in Community Room 2. Call 651-450-2585 to register.

Trips noted with a T.I.S. icon are planned in collaboration with West St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights and South St. Paul and may include additional pick-up/drop-off sites (where you register is where you board the bus). Please arrive 15-20 minutes before listed trip departure time. To register for trips and to depart from Inver Grove Heights, please visit the Parks and Recreation Office. Please note: no refunds will be issued after the registration deadline.

Drinking Habits, Day Trippers Theater in Bloomington
Join us for our zany, laugh out loud new farce "Drinking Habits." Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing Convent have been secretly making wine to keep the convent open. This show is filled with mistaken identities, lies, romance and a big plot twist. Buffet lunch will be served.

Driver Safety: 55 Plus Class
A state approved accident prevention and insurance discount course taught by the MN Highway Safety & Research Center. Persons age 55 and older who complete the course qualify for a 10% discount on their auto insurance premiums for three years.
4 Hour Refresher: January 9: 1-5;30pm; January 17: 5:30-9:30pm; Feb. 13: 1-5:30pm; Feb. 21: 5:30-9:30pm and March 13: 1-5:30pm
8 Hour Initial Course: March 21 & 22: 5:30-9:30pm

We will assist with scheduling tax preparation appointments with an IRS certified community volunteer on Fridays throughout February, March and April. A licensed attorney from Southern MN Regional Legal Services will provide legal consultations. Participants wishing to make an appointment with an attorney should call the Senior Law Project hotline at 651-222-4731 Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm. Appointments are encouraged as walk-ins won't be guaranteed time with the attorney.

Listen to a representative from the Better Business Bureau discuss scams targeting senior adults. This speaker will discuss various scams and best ways to protect yourself. This workshop includes lunch.

Medications Management & You
Learn from a pharmacist information you need to know about medication as it relates to diet, hydration, generic brands, multiple medications, complications, storage and disposal. The speaker will also speak to issues regarding insurance and review of medications. This workshop includes lunch.

Come learn about national and international vacation trips and tours. This is a free event but light snacks will be provided.

Food for Thought
Join in on the 'dish. This program is geared for those looking for social engagement, conversation and cuisine. We will visit local restaurants and the only cost for the program is the meal you order. Please RSVP to help ensure we have adequate seating for the group. You must provide your own transportation.
