You are invited to participate in one of four Groundwater Plan Workshops that will be held throughout Dakota County in May.
Dakota County staff are working to update the Groundwater Plan to protect and improve groundwater supplies for now and future generations. We want your ideas, concerns and opinions to help inform the goals and strategies of this plan.
A clean and reliable supply of water is critical for the future of Dakota County’s residents, businesses, agriculture community and the environment. Dakota County gets 90% of its drinking water from groundwater sources.
Additional information on the Groundwater Plan, including the full Stakeholder Engagement Schedule, can be found at the Dakota County Groundwater Plan Website.
These are duplicate Workshops that will include facilitated small-group discussions to encourage feedback from all members of the community and help identify what the County Groundwater Plan should address. Please let us know if you plan on attending one of the meetings, or are unable to attend, via the following link: Groundwater Plan Workshop RSVP.
