Inver Grove Heights provides the community with a variety of sports and recreational programs, as well as numerous special events and outings. We have something for people of all ages! Check out our great youth and adult programs and sports, have your next party at our water park or outdoor parks or work out in our fitness center! 

We want to make this site easy for you to navigate and find what you are looking for. Here are a couple tips to help:

2012-2013 Park System Plan:
The City of Inver Grove Heights is updating the Park and Recreation System plan and is looking for your suggestions and recommendations on how to shape our parks system for the next 10-20 years. 

We anticipate that it will take until June 2013 to complete the update of the plan and we want your input along the way. We will hold an open house to review the draft plan in the spring of 2013.

Older Adult Survey

The City and School District Community Education recently completed a Community Assessment of Adults Ages 55 & Older in Inver Grove Heights.  A completed copy of the survey can be viewed by clicking here.

Our goal is to make it possible for everyone, including persons with disabilities, to take advantage of the park system and its offerings. Our staff will work with individuals and groups to accommodate persons with special needs.

We strive to make the parks available for everyone with accessible facilities and the availability of adaptive equipment.
